Spring ISD announces Police Officer of the Year award winner
Jessica Taylor has been recognized for her professional demeanor both on and off duty.
The Spring Independent School District police officer has been named the 2012 Spring ISD Police Department's Officer of the Year. Taylor graduated from Lone Star College Law Enforcement Academy in 2008. She joined the Spring ISD Police Department the same year and serves in the communications center. Prior to working for the Spring ISD, she worked for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice as a correctional officer.
Officer Taylor said she enjoys working with a department that shares a positive role in providing safety and security for students and staff. She is thankful for the inspiration she receives daily from her peers in the department and looks forward to future goal opportunities, law enforcement training and the daily challenges that come with a career in law enforcement.
