Spring ISD Board of Trustees receives more than $20,000 from Foundation for Innovative Grants
Members of the Spring ISD Education Foundation join board trustees in the presentation of a check valued at $20,550.
The Spring Independent School District has received a $20,550 donation from the Spring ISD Education Foundation.
Monies will be used to fund four grants at three campuses for innovative projects. Grant recipients are Dorathea Wiederhold, Denise Neskoik, Linda Burgess, Donna Akins and Nicole Sever at Reynolds Elementary School for the Reynolds Reading Rendezvous program. Also receiving a grant at Reynolds is Brian Shillingburg for the Apple iPad Mobile Learning Lab.
Other grant recipients are Kristina Havemann, Kelly Green and Jamie Merillat from Marshall Elementary School for the A Bird's Eye View program; and Sarah Bennett Duncan and Jennifer Price for the iKids + iPads = IDEAL program at Meyer Elementary School.
